Terms of use

These are the ground rules for using this website, hiring me and buying from me. If you carry on using the site, you're agreeing to them. If something here doesn't work for you, write to me before you buy or book.

The site and what's on it

Everything on tundegodfrey.com is mine or used with permission: the writing, photos, music, scores, recordings, logo and design. You're welcome to link to any page and to quote a short passage with a clear credit and a link back. Please don't copy, republish or sell any of it without asking me first.

The information on the site is general. Prices, timings and what's on offer can change. Anything marked "coming soon" is not yet for sale and is not an offer.

Services

You ask for a service by email or WhatsApp. I reply with a fixed quote that says exactly what you'll get, when, and what it costs. Work starts once we've both agreed that in writing. An email is enough.

Each service lists how many rounds of changes are included. Extra changes, or work outside what we agreed, are quoted separately. Times I give are honest estimates, and they depend on you sending what I need when I need it.

If you send me material (text, logos, photos, music), you're telling me you have the right to use it. Once the work is paid for, you own what I made for you, except for my own tools, templates and methods. I won't put your work in my portfolio unless you say I can.

Coaching. Guidance sessions are honest conversations with someone who has taught young people for years. They are not counselling, therapy, or medical or legal advice. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before the first session. Sessions happen online, or in person where it's safe and agreed beforehand.

Scores, books and courses

These are sold through Selar. Selar handles checkout and payment, so its own terms apply to that part of your purchase.

When you buy something, you get a licence to use it. You don't get ownership of the work. The licence line on each product page says what you may do with it, including how many copies you may print. In short, it's for you and your own choir or group. Please don't share the files, upload them to a public site, or resell them. If you want to do something the licence doesn't cover, such as recording a piece for sale, ask me first and we'll usually sort it out.

Links to other sites

I link to other sites, such as Substack and Selar, and to social profiles. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for what's on them.

Limits on my responsibility

Nothing here takes away rights you have by law. Apart from that, I'm not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income or opportunities, that come from using the site or my work. If something goes wrong with a paid service and it's my fault, the most I'm responsible for is the amount you paid for that service.

Which law applies

These terms follow the laws of Nigeria. If we disagree about something, let's talk first. Most problems are settled that way. If we can't settle it, the courts of Nigeria can decide.

Changes and contact

I may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when I do. Changes don't affect work we've already agreed. Questions go to hello@tundegodfrey.com.
